Here are answers to your frequently asked questions.
What do you charge for therapy?
Our fee is $180 for the initial consultation and weekly individual and couples therapy sessions thereafter.
Do you accept insurance?
We are “out-of-network” and do not directly bill insurance companies. However, we can provide monthly a monthly superbill for you to submit to your insurance company. Please verify with your insurance that they cover “out-of-network, outpatient, mental health services”.
Do you offer a sliding scale?
We don’t currently offer a sliding scale. However, we are happy to send you some referrals that may be a good match for your budget.
What happens during an initial consultation?
The initial consultation is a chance for us to meet and decide if we are a good match to work together. We will listen to your goals, share our impressions and give you a sense of how we can help you. There is no obligation to continue. If you would like to continue we will agree on a weekly session time and move forward.
I am interested in both individual therapy and couples counseling. Can I do both at the same time?
Yes! And we recommend that you see one therapist for your individual therapy and a different therapist for your couples counseling. We are happy to schedule initial consultations with our different therapists or send you some referrals for someone in our professional network.
I don’t see any available sessions that work for me on your online scheduler?
Please contact us and let us know that you’d like to be added to our waiting list. Be sure to indicate two days and times that you are available for weekly session. We will do our best to find a spot for you as soon as something opens up!
